Digital Oscilloscope for Modular System.
PROMETHEUS ANALOG MODULAR SYNTHESIZER AMS-OSC – a compact yet rugged 14 HP digital oscilloscope, add-on module for your synthesizer. This osc has a time base and a voltage base in AC and DC. It has an AUDIO INPUT, an AUDIO THRU and an input signal attenuation KNOB. It has POSITION and HOLD functions. Featuring a 10-pin IDC connector and advanced protections, this module is your ticket to a simplified and efficient setup. Handcrafted with precision and great care at Real Instruments, it is the great solution for your modular synthesizer needs.
Made internally in Real Instruments laboratories with great care and precision. Consisting of precision digital oscilloscope of the highest quality. Two "function" LEDs allow you to constantly monitor the two main voltages: +12 VDC and -12VDC. The 10-pin IDC connector allows you to "cascade" connect many modules up to a maximum of 1500 mA.
The green LED indicates when any key is pressed. The red LED indicates the selected TIME BASE by flashing corresponding to the same time.
IMPORTANT NOTE:
AMS-OSC can operate with two different types of Firmware. The one already installed is of the "simplified" type and one of the "advanced" type. The "simplified" firmware allows a display of waveforms and voltages without the visual grid. The "advanced" firmware (called OFFSET) allows you to add the visual grid to the display. Both firmwares are available in the PRODUCT DOWNLOAD section (at the bottom of this page) and can be installed from AMS-OSC through the ARDUINO IDE.
