Digital Midi to CV/Gate Converter Module.
PROMETHEUS ANALOG MODULAR SYNTHESIZER AMS-M2CV – a compact yet rugged 14 HP digital Midi to CV/Gate Converter, add-on module for your synthesizer. This module allows you to convert MIDI data into: CLOCK OUT, TRIGGER OUT, GATE OUT, CV OUT, PITCH BEND, CONTROL CHANGE and VELOCITY. Designed for simplified use with a MIDI IN socket and a MIDI THRU socket. Just two buttons allow you to select the MIDI reception channel (from 1 to 16, including OMNI) through the "SELECT" button and to memorize your choice using the "STORE" button. A red led indicates the MIDI signal received from the external device used. A 3 positions switch allows you to choose the PRIORITY between: LOW NOTE, HIGH NOTE and LAST NOTE. Featuring a 10-pin IDC connector and advanced protections, this module is your ticket to a simplified and efficient setup. Handcrafted with precision and great care at Real Instruments, it is the great solution for your modular synthesizer needs.
Made internally in Real Instruments laboratories with great care and precision. Consisting of digital Midi to CV/Gate Converter of the highest quality. Two "function" LEDs allow you to constantly monitor the two main voltages: +12 VDC and -12VDC. The 10-pin IDC connector allows you to "cascade" connect many modules up to a maximum of 1500 mA.
The green LED indicates when any key is pressed. The red LED indicates the selected TIME BASE by flashing corresponding to the same time.
IMPORTANT NOTE:
The firmware is available in the PRODUCT DOWNLOAD section (at the bottom of this page) and can be installed from AMS-M2CV through the ARDUINO IDE.
