PROMETHEUS ANALOG MODULAR SYNTHESIZER AMS-3MX – a compact yet rugged 14 HP Echo Processor, add-on module for your synthesizer. This is an extremely "vintage" sounding ECHO processor that is voltage controlled through CV sources. The LEVEL, REPEAT and DELAY controls can be driven externally with CV voltages of +/- 5V. The audio input has LINE and MIC sensitivity and a buffered MIC direct output allows other audio chains in the system. Once the input LEVEL has been adjusted, it is possible to mix the ORIGINAL sound with the ECHO, creating different effects according to your imagination. Added to this module is a "pleasant" NOISE typical of 70s processors. The delay applied to the audio data is determined by the frequency of the unit's VCO that provides the clock source for the device's logic. A higher VCO frequency results in faster travel through memory (shorter echo delays) while a lower VCO frequency results in longer delays.
